This stunning piece of lighting art, titled “Fiore di Loto,” was designed by Marta Sansoni. And is inspired by the lotus flower. In Japanese, the term for lotus is “Hasu,” which signifies “purity of the soul.”
The lotus possesses a natural charm, even though its roots are submerged in mud. This ability to bloom beautifully despite its murky surroundings symbolizes rebirth in a world tainted by impurities. Marta Sansoni aimed to enhance this symbol of rebirth by transforming it into a glowing fixture for Serralunga.
