Description
The new “Cime” carpet collection, designed by Zanellato/Bortotto for Saba, aims to blend memory and poetry through its artisanal roots and contemporary aesthetics. Inspired by the nautical world and particularly lugsails, the collection reflects the symbols and colors associated with fishermen families in the Venetian laguna, especially Chioggia. The carpets utilize the traditional Sardinian weaving technique called Pibiones, showcasing a commitment to craftsmanship. Using “sheep-dyed” wool, the colors are derived naturally without chemicals, highlighting the voice of nature. The collection features colors from natural wool, with options in shades of gray and earthy red.
